The vehicle used is emerging as the main outlet for those who want to purchase a vehicle in the current economic climate. For the first time in 2011 the proportion of used car sales reached 2.1 per new vehicle sales. This is data that has provided the organization of the Used Vehicle Show in Madrid, which is being held at the fairground and will last until 24 June.
In it´s sixteenth edition, the Show presents a wide range of pre-owned cars, kilometer zero and from fleets and leasing, which helps to be an attractive option for those who are hesitant to purchase a new vehicle in times of crisis.
From IFEMA have ensured that the call of 2012 Hall, sponsored by the National Association of Motor Vehicle Dealers (Ganvam), has had a “well received” by the exhibitors, especially from vendors and marks, which are developing both new initiatives and innovative forms of financing or guarantees to make it even more attractive product used.
In a show where they are exposed more than 3,000 vehicles of all market segments, it is expected that this year’s figures are even greater than those of the previous edition, which sold a total of 2,065 cars, 68% of those exposed in the Hall, which led to a final billing of 41 million euros. At the end of the call for 2011, one of every 22 visitors had purchased a car.
